Welcome back,

The Storyweaver's Garden

Six wilting story-seeds. Pick one to tend.

Read what's been planted so far. Can you tell why it's wilting?

Decision Point A

Whose story is this, and why does it matter to them?

Decision Point B

Now write the moment this becomes a story.

Which version actually makes us want to keep reading β€” and why?

Editor's checklist

Before you grow the full story

Tick these off in your head β€” they apply to your own writing outside the game too.

    The harvest screen

    Grow your own story-seed

Left: the ideal path, beat by beat, as a planning model β€” not a script to copy. Middle: your version. Right: words that might help.

    Ideal path β€” 8 beats

    Your story

    Suggested vocabulary

More words aren't automatically better words β€” pick the ones that earn their place.

    Player's Garden

    AI marking rubric

What the AI refers to when scoring a harvested story

This text is sent to Groq / Workers AI as the marking instructions for every A4 submission across all six cases. Edit it to match how you want stories marked β€” protected by the teacher password set in your Worker's secrets.

    Sample & planner visibility

What pupils can access, per story-seed

Sample controls the "πŸ“– Read a model story" button (the finished mentor text). Planner controls the 8-beat "ideal path" reference column on the harvest screen. Turning either off doesn't block writing β€” pupils can always write their own story either way; it just removes that particular support. Uses the same teacher password as the rubric above.
